Community Question Jar

In the spirit of inquiry, I have created an anonymous question jar for all of my students (and me!). Since we are all so separated these days, we decided to open it up to the community at large, too. Any genuine inquirer is welcome to participate. The simple Google Form asks only one question: What are you wondering today?

Return to this digital "Question Jar" as many times as you want throughout the 2020-2021 academic year. Submit your question(s) once, visit occasionally, or ask questions every day. All questions welcome, even seemingly silly ones. Open-ended questions, closed questions, philosophical questions, practical questions: Ask anything that is on your mind. After you submit a question, you are also welcome to explore any other questions that have been submitted. Who knows? One of those questions might tap into your curiosity, too. Some questions will be used to launch research projects and some will prompt our class discussions, but others will be for you to ponder and explore on your own. If interest grows, we might also consider creating a place for answers. Our first priority, however, is to ask questions.

All questions are anonymous and will be visible to inspire and prompt other question askers. Time to build those question-asking muscles!

Visit the Question Jar to get started.
